1. Daniil MEDVEDEV (#4)
Medvedev is coming off his second Grand Slam final (Aus Open 2021) and will be looking to shake off his disappointing appearance with a good week in Rotterdam. Before the Australian Open Final, he was on a 20 match win streak which included 2 indoor titles at the Paris Masters and ATP Finals.
2. Stefanos TSITSIPAS (#6)
Stef played the match of his life against Nadal at the Australian Open 2021 and it affected his semi final performance against Medvedev, resulting in a straight sets loss. He does enjoy the indoor courts of Europe and is a strong contender to lift the trophy and get his season back on track.
3. Andy MURRAY (#125)
Murray returned to the tour last week with a straight sets loss (lost to Gerasimov) after a 5 month absence from the ATP Tour. However, with matches under his belt playing the Beilla Challenger event a few weeks back and no expectations in this event, he will be feeling fit and ready to take down the big names of this tournament.
